Ryan came to Australia to explore and travel... and apparently chose Australia because it has the most dangerous animals on the planet (!) What he found, was something else entirely! Ryan and Steph took a gamble on each other, knowing they were meant to be from the moment they met. Since meeting, the duo fell in love quickly and have set themselves up for a life of happiness. With a mutual love of animals the pair have opened their homes to 11 foster animals to date, as well as having two cats, two dogs and three chooks of their own. Their approach to life is centred around being a team, and that is reflected in their choices to date. From living together in Port Melbourne, to setting up Ryan’s business Modern Hedge down on the Mornington Peninsula and finally moving their lives from Port Melbourne to Mount Eliza to grow Ryan’s business and be close to Steph’s family.
Meg is a long time best friend of Steph, going back to their high school days! Meg was Steph’s “wing-woman” the night she met Ryan and since then Ryan and Steph have never looked back. Now, Sunday’s are often spent together, as Steph and Meg catch up on weekly events, while watching Ryan and Meg’s husband, Simon, play soccer together!
Ryan's always looked up to this guy. He's the best man, big brother and best mate of our groom. Ryan & Steph hope to have what Jamie & Rachel (partners for 21 years) have, and beyond. Steph hit it off with Jamie & Rach as soon as they met in Windsor and have felt like family from then on.
Meet Celeste, the bride and grooms bestie who even went on their first date together (a roaring success; the four are still double-dating to this day). Celeste and Steph hit it off in the early advertising days over a mutual love of wine and Celeste has been hard to shake ever since.
Meet Sam, the little brother of our groom. Sam is the father of our two gorgeous nieces Lilly & Scarlett and a proud step-father to Hayden. Ryan prides himself on having taught Sam everything he knows. The bride & groom are excited to see Sam exchange vows with his own Steph, next July.
